A unit of Kozhikode District Co-Operative Hospital Ltd.No.D-2002 ,was envisioned and established in 2023

Adequate Infrastructure facilities as per the norms of statutory bodies viz, Director of Medical Education, Kerala and the use of modern educational technologies in the teaching - learning process are the salientfeaturesof ourinstitution.
The Govt. of Kerala and the management of Kozhikode District Co-Operative Hospital Ltd.No.D-2002 arrived at a consensus agreeing to the criteria of allotment, sharing of seats and fee structure, for the allotment of students to the courses conducted in our institution. Accordingly 50% of the totalseats will be filled up by the Govt. in accordance with the merit and reservation principlesfollowed by the Govt., 50% of the total seats (Management quota) will be filled up from the list of the candidates who are eligible as per the prospectus and application forms issued against the notification by the Management directly in accordance with themeritin qualifying examination.
This prospectus sets out the rules and regulations for selection and admission to the management quota seats for the year 2022-2023 and is subject to modification/ addition/deletion as may be deemed necessary by the management and subject to the Govt. orders.

  • The Caution Deposit will be refunded after the completion of the Course without interest after deducting the amount towards damages and loss sustained, if any, from the part of the student concerned, on production of original Receipt.

Eligibility for admission

1. Academic

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent examination recognized by any of the Universities in the state of Kerala with 40% marks in physics, chemistry and biology put together are eligible for admission (for SC/ST 35% marks)

2. Age

The student should have 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.

All candidates seeking admission to the Paramedical Diploma courses, under Management Quota must apply only online in the website www.kdchcalicut.com. Last date for submitting online application will be 15.07.2024. Candidates should register only one application for admission to Paramedical Diploma courses. During the submission of online application, candidates have to enter the marks obtained by them in the subjects concerned in their Qualifying Examination, in the website.

  • 1. Application Fee : Rs. 750/-

  • 3. Note: The Application fee/additional fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Documents to be uploaded

  • Copy of SSLC or equivalent Certificate as proof for date of birth

The above mentioned documents must be uploaded along with the application for completion of your registration in the website.

There is no need to send the hard copy of the application to institute by hand or through post.

SELECTION AND ADMISSION

  • 1. Selection of the candidates for management quota will be done from among the candidates who have only successfully applied in the institution website, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination under rank list put up by the management.
  • 2. The Selected candidates will be informed via mobile calls and e- mail regarding the date and time of their interview for the admission into the course.
  • 3. The candidates must compulsorily produce the following documents in original at the time of their interview to the admission.
    • Hard copy of the application form
    • S.S.L.C.
    • Plus two mark list
    • 4 Passport size photograph
    • Transfer certificate
    • Course and Conduct Certificate issued by the head of educational institution last attended.
  • 4. The fact that candidates have been called for interview does not confer on him/her any claim for selection into the course.
  • 5. If any candidate who is provisionally selected, fails to report to the Principal on or before the specified time and date, his/her selection stands automatically cancelled without any further information, and the seat will be given to the next eligible person in the rank list.
  • 6. The Institute will not be responsible if the selected candidate has given an invalid contact number or e-mail and also if the selected candidate does not respond to the interview calls and e-mail.
  • 7. The students shall pay the fee in full of the first year of the course at the time of admission.

Tuition fees for Paramedical Diploma Courses as per the norm of Govt. of Kerala

Use of mobile phones

  • Usage of Mobile phones by the students are strictly prohibited in the college/hospital campus. Any violation of the prohibition will lead to stringent disciplinary action by the college management.
  • All the students who are selected should obey the rules and regulations of the institution without fail.
  • Students should attend the college and the clinical postings with the prescribed uniform along with the ID card.

Boys: Should trim their hair and beard. They should appear neatly in the college and hospital premises.

Girls: Should tie their hair neatly and dress decently.

OTHER ITEMS

  • 1. No request for the change of date of interview/ allotment process/ enquiries with regard to the date of declaration of results will be entertained.
  • 2. Any other items not specifically covered in this prospectus will be decided by the undersigned and the decision will be final.
